Entropion

Entropion is a condition where the eyelid turns inward, causing the eyelashes and skin to rub against the surface of the eye. This can lead to irritation, redness, tearing, and even damage to the cornea.

  • Aging (most common

  • Scarring from injury, burns, or surgery

  • Infections (like trachoma)

  • Congenital (present from birth)

  • Spasms or inflammation
